40. Reflection and changes

What goes well:

What I personally think goes well with our music video is the shots we have in the outdoor spaces, this is because we have the natural lighting which makes the quality of the scene look higher.
The aim of the outdoor shots in Hampstead Heath were to make it as similar as possible to the original music video and although there is more green in our shots, we achieved that. In the original video we only see her in a desereted place and with our shots we made sure we filmed in specific places were there were little to none people in the background, which saved us the troubles of people not wanting to be in the shots and also to make it look similar.

Changes:

The changes I think we needed to do were re-film the indoor scenes. The quality compared to the outdoor scenes are low, the lighting is not very bright, mostly because we just relied on the light that came in through the windows and curtains, instead of actually asking to take out either a top light or a light that would be brighter such as a dedo light. We are thinking to re-film these scenes and hopefully change the concept of the music video to make it more understanding for the audience. When we showed our roughcut to some people in our class they said they did really like the video, however, they did not understand the concept, they did not understand the parts in the middle (the chorus) in which we aimed to make them look like flashbacks.
