This is the list of media technology I have used during this project:
This is a video drive. My group and I used this to storage our clips for our music video as well as other things relevant to the blog such as the preliminary task.
We also used a memory card inserted in the camera in order to keep the clips we filmed for our music video.
Blogger is the most important media technology I have used for blogging. Every task we had to do relevant to the planning and research of our media products I would post a blogpost about it.
Thinglink is new for me because I have not used it in previous blogposts. However, I found it quite useful when explaining something important in a picture.
I have not used padlet very much. I think it is a good media technology when presenting different pictures in a collage, rather than just posting screen shots.
Prezi is one of the media technology I used the most. I used it during this project to present the industry and the final pitch, as well as the planning of all of the evaluation questions.
Emaze, alongside Prezi, is one of the media technology I used almost all the time. I would use this as an alternative in order to present a blogpost rather than just typing it on blogger. A example is when I used it when talking about our fictional artist River for the final pitch.
This symbol is for a media technology I discovered recently. It is called calmlywritter and it is an online platform to write. I think it is a different method to use rather than blogger.
We as a group created an account for twitter, instagram and Facebook in order to keep our teachers updated with our filming process.
We mainly used instagram when we were filming. Here are some pictures from our instagram account.
I also made use of the internet for research purposes. I used Youtube to listen to songs from similar artists as well as our original one, as well as google to find the websites of similar artists for inspiration for my own website.
The camera
During this project we used the camera to film our music video. However, in order to be able to use the camera, we had to write down the shot types and draw a story board so that we knew what to film in every moment. We all managed to film clips for our music video during the filming days.
Fig rig
We made us of the fig rig because it would help us with the camera and prevent any shakiness we might have caused without it. However, we did not use it when filming once in Diana's house because we had a technical problem. The fig rig was too big to go with from room to room making it impossible to move. I would like to highlight that we did not use tripod at all.
Dedo light
We wanted to use the dedo lights for the bath scenes because we thought the camera would make the natural lighting turned out dark when editing. What happened was that we forgot to take the dedo lights when filming and when we came to edit the scene turned out dark. However, we managed to add an effect to make it look like how we wanted it to look with the dedo lights.

We used Premiere Pro to edit our music video. One effect I would like to highlight is the black and white effect. We used it in order to clarify that the shots are flashbacks.
Website.
For my website I decided to used weebly at first. I started doing the website for our fictional artist but I was not happy with the progress. This is the prezi I uploaded in order to inform about the changes.
I ended up using Wix. It was the first time I used the website and it was very easy to get use to it. There were more tools available than on weebly and I got the result I wanted to.
Digipak.
For my digipak I used Photoshop. I would like to highlight that I had never used photoshop before and now I feel confident when using it. However, I have to be honest, I do not know how I managed to put the image of the guitar in my CD template. I searched on google, watched youtube tutorials and still had no idea.

This animatic storyboard was made by Diana. We were required to do one because it contains all of the shots for our music video and it also shows our ideas for the types of shots we wanted in our main media product.
